[ Most of the classes at his fancy international boarding school are too tedious for words, but Kise likes Mister Navarro's English class. English is simple memorization, after all. For him, it's a breeze, comes to him easily without any effort. He doesn't try very hard, gets middling grades, enough not to get in trouble. It's a boring class, really. But the teacher... Well, he doesn't mind spending an hour listening Mister Navarro go on and on about grammar when the view is so nice. There are worse ways to spend some time than fantasizing about being called into Mister Navarro's office and being told to get down on his knees and suck it.
Not that Mister Navarro would ever say something like that. He seems way too mild mannered, too prim and polite to ever let something that dirty come out of his mouth. But it's a nice daydream.
Or so Kise thinks, up until he finds the notebook. The notebook — diary, really — detailing all of nice, kind, gentle Mister Navarro's murders.
He should turn it in to the police. Tell someone, at least. His English class is being taught by a criminal. A murderer.
He doesn't do any of those things.
No, instead, Kise waits until the end of the day when he knows Mister Navarro's going to be alone grading papers. He doesn't bother knocking, just walks into the room and closes the door behind him, snicks the lock shut. For this, he definitely doesn't want to be disturbed. ]
Hey, Mister Navarro, sorry to bother you. [ He's not sorry at all, but he's been putting on a good face for all his teachers and he's not going to stop now. At least, not quite yet. ] I've got a question about some of the homework, do you think you could help me out?
